Welcome to Ilam

        On Friday,

                          

                 June 8th I woke up at six o'clock and no wonder, it was a very good day. The birds were crisping. With my parents made a plan to go for five days during my vacation. We were planning to visit Ilam. I had never seen the hilly region of the eastern parts. My first visit to ilam made a lasting impression on me. It took 6 hours to reach our destination. The beautiful scenery on the way appealed to us. It still flashes in my memory.

We spent a night at a hotel. Early morning we started our journey and we broke our journey in Fickal. 

"Are you enjoying the scenery?" my mother asked me.

"Wasn't it an exciting experience to see such picturesque scenery?" My Father asked by looking at me. I couldn't help saying "Yes" that picturesque scenery thrilled me. I forget all the tiredness that I had felt. When we reached there, we were treated with proper hospitality. We were served fresh and delicious organic food. We observed their cultural tradition and their lifestyle. We also looked at the tea garden at that place. Thus we spent five days in a homely environment in Ilam and we returned home.
